Best way to study conflict of interest rules for PECB ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer Exam? (68 อ่าน)

Been struggling to nail down conflict of interest rules for this exam, the kind of thing that seems obvious in theory but gets genuinely tricky once you're inside a specific scenario.
Ran into a case where a company appointed someone as internal auditor who'd also been actively managing the day to day operations of the department being audited for the past six months. On paper that sounds fine, they know the department well, right? But that's exactly the conflict, auditing your own recent work isn't independent, even with good intentions. I kept second guessing myself on questions like this because the "wrong" answer often sounds reasonable if you're thinking practically instead of thinking about independence requirements specifically.
Same pattern showed up with responsibility for measurement activities. There was a scenario where the person who owned the information was also assigned to carry out the actual measurement work tied to that same data. Felt like an efficient setup on the surface, one person handling something end to end, but the standard treats that combination as a problem for the same underlying reason, you shouldn't be the one measuring and reporting on something you're also responsible for producing.
What's helped me start getting this right consistently is stopping to ask one specific question every time: is this person being asked to evaluate or report on something they were also directly involved in creating or managing? If yes, that's usually the red flag the question is testing for, regardless of how efficient or well intentioned the setup sounds.
I've been practicing this specific pattern using sample questions here, and it's been useful for actually seeing how these conflict setups get worded on the real exam rather than just reading the rule in isolation:

If anyone else has a mental checklist or trick for spotting these quickly, genuinely want to hear it, I still catch myself slowing down every time one of these comes up.
