Passed Cisco 350-501 Exam : My Prep Strategy & Why MPLS/SR Needs Most Focus (27 อ่าน)

Hi everyone, I recently passed the Cisco 350-501 SPCOR v1.1 exam and wanted to share what I did. As per the official exam topics, the weights are roughly: Architecture 15%, Networking 30%, MPLS and Segment Routing 20%, Services 20%, and Automation & Assurance 15%. Architecture covers SP core designs, transport technologies, virtualization and QoS. Networking covers IS-IS, OSPF, BGP, routing policy and high availability. Services covers L2VPN, L3VPN, EVPN and multicast. Automation & Assurance covers REST APIs, NETCONF, YANG, NSO and telemetry. In my opinion the toughest area is MPLS and Segment Routing, and I gave it the most time: LDP behaviour, MPLS TE, SR and SR-TE concepts, and how labels and paths work. Once this was clear, the other sections felt much more manageable. Please check the official page for the full blueprint: https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/s/spcor-exam-topics
For resources, I was looking for something that would act like a mentor and show me how to approach this exam. I came across ITExamsTopics, first tried their free questions, and they helped me clear several concepts. Since I already knew about this exam, the material suited me, so I took the subscription and my preparation became much easier and well structured. However, please don't depend on it 100%. Use the official exam topics page as your guide, and back up whatever you practice with documentation and hands-on labs. I passed comfortably by following this strategy, and I hope it helps you too. If you are planning to take the exam and need any help, feel free to ask me here!
