If a travel recap leaves out the middle of a song, is it better to rebuild a separate lyric cue file for the edited soundtrack, rather than trying to repair one continuous file with a global offset?

This is a planning question, not a report about a completed booking or a particular tour. Suppose the editor uses an original or properly licensed track, keeps an opening section, removes a middle passage, and resumes at a later section. Moving every timestamp by the same amount seems insufficient: the first section might already align while only the later section needs a different adjustment. A shortened fade could also leave a final lyric line appearing after the audible ending.

My proposed handoff would include the exact edited audio version, the lyric wording approved for that version, the location of each cut, and a short list of unresolved cues. The reviewer would check the start, both sides of every cut, and the last audible line. I would avoid treating a few correctly aligned lines near the beginning as evidence that the entire montage is ready.

For resource context, AI LRC Generator is a browser-based synced lyrics generator with manual lyric and timestamp editing and export. Manual editing and export are free; automatic audio processing requires a verified account and credits. This does not establish that it automatically understands an edited travel soundtrack. Enhanced LRC needs actual word timestamps rather than invented subdivisions of line timestamps.

For a simple recap, would you request one cue file tied to the final audio edit, or keep separate files for each retained section and combine them only during video assembly? What minimum information would make that handoff unambiguous? This question is project-associated and AI-assisted, not an independent customer review or a claim of tested player compatibility.
