We got married in Ontario and need the certificate attested by the UAE Embassy for family visa. Any recent experience from GTA people?

Did the same thing last month. Ontario certificate → ServiceOntario → Global Affairs → UAE Embassy in Ottawa (or they can submit for you). The embassy itself is quick if the previous steps are perfect. We almost missed that the certificate needs to be less than 6 months old for some categories.
