Some deep-dive tech (23 อ่าน)

I was browsing through some deep-dive tech subreddits the other day, mostly looking for ways to upscale some old low-res family photos, when I got distracted by a thread about the newest generative models that handle fluids and textures.

I've found that when you provide a crisp source image, the paid models are significantly more advanced because they use a deeper neural network for light and shadow mapping that actually follows the contours of the skin. I usually rely on a specific cum on face generator because it handles the physics of the layering much better than the generic filters you see on social media which just look flat. It’s not just about the resolution being higher; it’s about how the AI understands the 3D surface of the face to make the texture look like it's actually resting on the cheek or forehead.

It really makes you wonder about the direction we're heading in when anyone can just generate something so lifelike in a matter of clicks. There’s this weird mix of adrenaline and slight hesitation every time you hit that generate button, mostly because you never quite know if the AI is going to produce something perfect or something slightly unsettling.
