Hi everyone. I recently moved to the UAE for work and just before leaving for a short trip I received my First Abu Dhabi Bank credit card. The problem is that I have not activated it yet and I am currently outside the country for a few days. I tried going through the instructions that came with the card but they mainly mention activating it through the mobile app or an ATM in the UAE.



Since I am traveling right now I am not sure if the activation can still be done through the app alone or if it requires a local ATM step first. I logged into the FAB mobile banking app but the card is visible without any clear activation button which made me a bit unsure about what I should do next.



Another small issue I am trying to figure out is how people usually keep track of their FAB bank balance once everything is active. I want to be able to check the balance occasionally while traveling just to make sure there are no unexpected transactions, but I have not used their system before so I am not sure what the easiest method is.



If anyone here has experience activating a FAB credit card while outside the UAE or knows how the process usually works, I would really appreciate some advice. I would also like to know the most convenient way to check the account balance once the card is active since I will probably be managing the account while traveling quite often.
