Are Traditional Grading Systems Still Effective for Modern Students? (9 อ่าน)

Education has evolved rapidly in recent years, but many schools and universities still rely on traditional grading systems that were designed decades ago. Today’s students are learning through online platforms, AI tools, practical projects, skill-based learning, and digital classrooms, yet academic evaluation methods often remain outdated.
Many students now focus more on:
Practical skills
Real-world experience
Problem solving
Technical abilities
Project-based learning
Digital certifications
instead of only memorization and exam scores.
Because of this, educational platforms and academic support tools are becoming increasingly important for helping students understand their academic progress, grading structures, and performance evaluations more clearly. I recently noticed how platforms like https://gpaconverterhub.com/ are simplifying complex academic calculations and making educational processes easier for students navigating different grading systems.
Do you think traditional grading systems still accurately measure student ability in today’s modern education environment, or should education move toward more skill-based evaluation methods?

No the traditional grading system are not still effective for modern students due to the lot of change occur in society and do not educate the students properly and run in the race of getting a grade or competition not for education.
